Colin had his check up for his pelvis today and good news he is healing great. Three weeks more with one crutch and then three weeks with a cane. (He'll be pimpin'in style!haha!)
I can't believe how long it takes to really heal a pelvis. I thought today he would have said it was fixed and he would be off of the crutches completely. Colin is surprisingly ok with it all and pretty much listening to doctors orders, at least while we're looking anyway. His motivation is that the doctor said he should be ready for AAU basktball in late April.
So six more weeks. It should fly by.

Basketball in six weeks?!?! I was kind of hoping he'd take up piano...and I'm sure you are too. Is he sure he wouldn't rather join the ping pong team or play an instrument???

That's great that Colin is healing so well...he is probably getting all the sympathy attention from the girls at school....who wouldn't like that...lol,,,ur a great NURSE..and mommy..and auntie...and wife...face it ...you just ROCK
